I'm
often asked what is the Grand Order of Lady Ratlings "Cup
of Kindness".
Is it made of Crystal or some other precious metal - where do
you keep it - does it actually exist. Well the answer is that
it's really a symbolic Cup, and each Lady Ratling has her own
clear mental image of what the Cup looks like and represents.
But like so many wonderful ideals that live in peoples minds
and inspire them, this imaginary Cup is very real. There are
thousands of people who can gratefully testify to its existence.
We have been dispensing Love - Kindness and Help from this Cup
for 75 years. Although it has helped the Sick - Lonely
- and Needy - MIRACULOUSLY it has remained FULL
for all this time, so that we have been able to continue to
give its blessings to so many grateful recipients.
There is a Biblical quote that says "My cup runneth over"
- well all of you dear friends, have helped to keep our Cup
full. Full of love and kindness - for so many years.
We have many wonderful magicians in the world, but none can
produce a Cup as magical as ours - Because;
You can't see it - yet you Can See the big effect
it has on people's lives.
You can't touch it - but the cup has Touched the
lives of thousands.
You can't put a value on it - because it has no material value,
but it is the Most Precious Ideal in the minds
of all our members.
You can't hold it - but it is the very thing that we Hold
dearest in our hearts, our special Magical Loving Cup.
Here's to the Health and Happiness of all those in Need - God
Bless them, and long may they continue to benefit from our "Cup
of Kindness" Charity.

The
"Cup of Kindness" was formed by the Lady Ratlings
in May 1931, by our founder members. The current members are
still working hard 73 years later, to try and maintain the original
goal; to keep the "Cup" full and brimming over with
Love and Kindness. Over the years the "CUP OF KINDNESS"
has given tremendous help and support to many hundreds of worthy
causes.
